Things you did to keep calm during planned c section?
Hey everyone, so looks like I’m going to have to opt for my second c section my obstetrics are encouraging this due to my first bub being delivered via scheduled c section and also to limit risks for me due to some medical things with me (brain stuff).
My experience with my first once that spinal became effective I became highly anxious, went into like a shock like state and very disassociated from the moment it was like I was super high. All was okay I think my body just had a panic reaction to the spinal which broke my heart because of how out of touch from the actual moment I became it took me 98% away from the most special part of my daughter being born. So I’m quite nervous if I have this reaction again and need to find ways to either avoid this from happening or very much ground it in the moment if it does, I’ll chat to my drs on my next appointment when I confirm the c section but I would love to know if anyone else had a similar experience and how did others what straits whether maybe some music was in the room or anything that helped keep you calm?
Thank you
