I’m looking at potentially joining the sheriffs department at 30yo. I understand that it’s 12 hour shift and every other weekend at my local department. More so curious on the flexibility of picking shifts or having a set in stone schedule. My wife runs a restaurant and has Mondays and Tuesdays off work and works weekends. Have plenty of family around to help watch our kids have a 2 year old and 1 on the way.

I’m Going to a meet n greet recruiting meetup this weekend so I’ll be asking questions there as well.

Any good questions to ask while at the meet n greet as well?
