(1)There are two separate tubes and two equal mass ball.upside tube+ball and bottom tube+ball. (2)A counterweight  (3) Divide the mechanism in three parts Upside tube ball Bottom tube ball Counterweight  Now just do not consider that there is a bottom tube ball  First i worked with only upside tube+ball When I dropped the ball in upside tube the ball hitting a level in the tube and this level is above fulcrum. The device rotate More than 180 degree towards LHS but it can't get more height towards RHS due to gravitational pull back as center of mass is below fulcrum. It didn't work. What I did ,I added an another tube having Equal ball like upside tube as  per video. And increased the mass of counterweight to balanced the extra mass of this added bottom tube mass. Again I dropped the ball at RHS and ARM ROTATE MORE THAN 180 degree towards LHS lifting bottom tube mass more than the initial position of arm. This worked out well and solved the gravitational pull back problem as center of mass is above fulcrum now. But I couldn't drop the ball from LHS. If ball drops from LHS again then there is no doubt that it will not get higher towards RHS. Yes ,it will work 101%without any doubt. Now you are giving example of any pendulum if lift up then it will also go more than 180 degree. You are right but what is significant is there is no momentum in pendulum and it will stop after few swings. What is significant is in the proposed design that in each rotation RHS to LHS ball will drop giving momentum to Device and getting more height than its previous height. I clearly watch this as I worked on it but as video recorded from lateral side that's why you cannot see the clear angle , however,in video arm is rotating more than 180 degree at LHS. One more point I would like to tell that if you notice in the video the bottom tube length is more than upside tube that's also prevents the device ROTATE more .if bottom tube length would be equal to upside tube than the device ROTATE more but I deliberately keep it more to test the momentum and kinetic energy of ball and it worked.

This device works without violating thermodynamics laws
