One thing I think many startups are missing about AI Overview

I understand why every one is trying to get into AI Overviews, but I think that most folks try to optimise the wrong thing from the beginning. AI does not only look for a page with the right keywords but for the one that is easy to understand + easy to quote.

I have started to write the sections that answer one question at a time using simple language, clear headings and short paragraphs. So instead of forcing everything into one big article or blog, I make each section stand on its own.

My thinking is pretty simple here- if AI can quickly understand a section without reading the whole page, then it is probably easier to reference it too.

I am still testing this, but it is more about structuring information than using traditional SEO approaches.

Curious if anyone else is also experimenting with content for AI retrieval than rankings.
