Horrible flare of vulvar lichen planus

I've been suffering with Erosive Vulvar Lichen Planus for 4 1/2 years. It was completely under control the past year and a half. 4 weeks ago I started having severe inflammation and pain. Now I have erosions, and adesions.

I think it was a combination of sex, eating too much sugar, and a uti. I cannot get it under control. Even when it first started, it wasn't this bad. I'm going to my Dr. on Friday. I don't even know what will be left by then, I'm so scared.

Has this ever happened to anyone - where you had your disease in check and then it just spiraled out of control so fast? Did you get it back under control?
