30F - Looking for kind, platonic conversations

Hi everyone!

I'm a 30-year-old Japanese American (second generation) woman from the US. I ended up on Reddit because life has been feeling a little lonely lately.

A couple of my close friends have moved away over the past year, and I realized I don't really have many people to talk to outside of work anymore.

I'd especially love to meet other women around my age, but I'm also happy to chat with guys as long as you're genuinely looking for friendship and nothing flirty.

A little about me: I love late-night drives, indie music (I've had Passenger Seat by Death Cab on repeat lately), coffee, binge-watching TV, trying new restaurants, and having conversations that can bounce between completely random observations and more meaningful topics.

I'm pretty easygoing and don't expect us to become best friends overnight. It would just be nice to have people to check in with, share memes, talk about our day, or recommend music and shows to each other.
