Few days ago I commented on a post and the replies somehow turned into something far worse than the original topic. A girl casually admitted that she had been driving a Fortuner before turning 18 and then proudly flexed that she’d already driven 18.5k km. When another guy politely pointed out that driving a car without being legally eligible for a licence is illegal, instead of accepting the mistake she got cocky, doubled down, and basically replied with a yeah, so attitude as if breaking the law was something to be proud of.
That’s exactly the problem with some entitled, immature drivers who think rules are optional because they’re driving their parents’ expensive cars and money will solve everything if something goes wrong. We’ve already seen enough tragedies caused by reckless and irresponsible driving to know this mindset is dangerous. A car isn’t a trophy or a flex, it’s a machine that can take someone’s life in a split second.
The most concerning part wasn’t even the underage driving, it was the complete lack of accountability and the fact that she openly admitted and defended it online like it was some achievement. If admitting to illegal driving is your flex, then you’re not proving you’re a skilled driver, you’re only proving how immature and irresponsible you are.

The Growing Culture of Flexing Illegal Driving Needs to Stop
