Spent 2 weeks mapping indie finance tooling before building. Here's the one gap every tool misses.
Kept hearing the same complaint from multi-platform sellers, best summarized by one line I saw: "my June number quietly changes in July." FX gets applied at payout time instead of sale time, and refunds/chargebacks land in a different month than the original sale - so last month's revenue silently rewrites itself.
I assumed this was solved. It's not. Hurdlr, Keeper, QuickBooks Solopreneur all charge $10-25/mo and work great - for single-stream, money-lands-in-your-bank freelancers. Stripe even reconciles payouts to bank deposits natively now.
But nothing gives you one honest net across Stripe + Gumroad + AdSense once each platform's fees, FX, and refund timing hit differently. Everyone I've talked to exports CSVs and stitches them by hand every month.
If you earn across 2+ platforms: how do you get your real net today? And have you ever paid for a tool that claimed to solve this and dropped it - what broke?
