Begging me to stay past closing and bought nothing

I never want to stay past closing for a customer ever, and the times I have done, I would always be firm and say I will stay open for you if you are certain you really want to buy something. Yesterday, I made an exception for this one girl because she said she works in the same place but upstairs. So I thought “oh okay she’s a fellow retail workers she will surely understand and not take the piss”. But boy was I wrong.

Basically, she came an hour before begging me if I could stay open a bit for her because she really wanted to buy some stuff from us. So I did. After 15 minutes I didn’t see her anywhere and thought right, I’m gonna close. But then I saw her, her initial response was she will come back tomorrow. I said I am already going out of my way to stay open so she said okay then she will buy today. After half an hour of dilly-dallying, her excuse for not buying was “This one is too big and this one is too small and I believe in God and God would not want this to be so wonky.” She then left buying nothing, making me stay almost an hour for nothing and had no shame whatsoever.

That is the very last time I am EVER opening for anyone ever again, no exceptions.
