This will be a slow burn, corruption based roleplay where it will heavily rely on power dynamics shifting within a relationship.

I am 28 now, I’ve worked in my office job as a manager for around 3 years and it’s a good life for me, I decide my own hours (despite working the same as my staff). It brings me a good wage which helped to get our first home.

As for me I’ve always been more extroverted and social, not on the level of being cocky but the type of man what would say hello to anyone he passes, sort of a relaxed persona.

For my appearance, I’m 5’11, stocky build, slight belly, short black hair which is cut shorter back and sides, short stubble beard, olive skin tone. At work it was usually a casual shirt and jeans. At home any time between 6pm-11pm on a weekday or weekends it would mostly be shorts and a tshirt, comfort over fashion.

We were a strange couple to others and had been together for around 4 years. You are more on the quiet side, a little younger than me, chubby build, nerdy if I was to describe you. You weren’t the type to speak to random people and would only be comfortable with close friends. I did the food ordering, the arguing or anything else as you didn’t want the confrontation.

Our relationship was good and there wasn’t any concerns, we would work through the week, then at the weekend we would go for a drink or go out for some food to keep a little dating dynamic going.

I would often be out more than you with my guy friends but I would always encourage you to go out with your girls more.

Fast forward to July 20th. You had a hen doo planned for one of your friends, it wasn’t really an event you’d fully looked forward to but it wasn’t a weekend away with some girls so it couldn’t be too bad.

Maybe the thought of the situation couldn’t leave your head and you had flashbacks to the card game and something about it made you dizzy inside!
