How do you reconcile net across Stripe + other platforms when FX and refunds land in different months?
Stripe's payout-to-bank reconciliation is solid now, and single-platform is basically handled. My problem starts when Stripe is one of several income sources.
The specific thing that breaks: FX applies at payout time, not sale time, and refunds/disputes post as negative balance transactions in a later month than the original charge. So a number I recorded for June looks different when I check in July. Multiply that across Gumroad and AdSense, each with its own fee structure and payout timing, and there's no single source of truth.
Right now I just export everyone's CSVs and match by hand. Feels like there should be a better way.
For those of you multi-platform: how are you handling this? And if you've paid for a tool that promised cross-platform support and stopped using it — what was missing?
