Thoughts on Tube amps - mic vs load box & DI

I’m thinking of adding a tube amp to my home recording setup. I really don’t have room for a speaker cab/mic setup so I’m thinking a load box / cab sim/ DI (eg Torpedo Captor X) with an Orange Amp could give all the analog nuance of valves and the cabsim wouldn’t be too much of a compromise. Previously I’ve only used valve amp modellers which I don’t love. Thoughts?
