Doran and Peyz hate is undeserved *SPOILERS*

People here are waaaaay to hard on Doran and I am not really sure why.

Game 1; Doran is doing as much as he can against a ranged opponent who disappears.

The real problem game 1 has been Faker (like what was that lvl 6???), Oner and Keria (weird ass tower dive). Its clear that these 3 have been anything but on their game in the first match, early game. While Doran and Peyz are pretty consistent and have a gold lead for quite a while. After the Baron Doran tries to stop BB but he just cannot see him, which is the whole problem. From what I can see, Doran and Peyz do everything they can here and the others pull themselves together after 20 minutes. The drake steal was amazing. The only real mistake Doran made is 1 v 1ing the Ezreal. And yeah they forced fights they really didnt need too but thats a team effort and not a Doran/Peyz issue.

Game 2; I think blind picking Yorick was a mistake, but that isnt Doran's fault at all. I also don't quite agree with the Pyke as Keria is very good on it but hes just not a consistent enough champion. Minute 8, after missing the Mel stun I'm not sure why Faker ulted in as the chances of having a pick were slim to none. Doran is just shafted by the draft but he is someone who consistently holds his own after having been behind early game. And at 14:30 its Keria and Oner again taking a fight they shouldnt have. Flashing into Baron pit was a mistake by Doran, though just not sure if he couldve flashed the other way. Dorans timing on his wall for the Herald was unfortunate. But again the rest of T1 making more mistakes than Doran. And while Peyz's Mel has been consistently good, it has indeed been lacking in this game which is unfortunate. Just overal mostly a draft diff.

Game 3; Once again a counterpick toplane so from draft theres already only so much you can do in laning phase. Peyz shouldve flashed the Skarner stun, oh well and he's a little ambitious against the Aurora. Faker being ambitious as well at 18, no one was near him and shouldve saved his flash. Minute 23 was a really good fight just too bad it didnt work out well, not sure why Doran and Faker went back in tho. Oner ulting Hans away is just a massive misplay even though it didnt matter too much in the end.

Game 4; This was a really good game for T1, Doran shouldve been there for that drake fight and then everything wouldve been fine. I think he hung around the wrong side of G2 for a little too long and then not joining the fight was a mistake. I have no comments on Peyz, his performance was amazing. Keria was too aggressive, flashing too much when he didnt need too. Then fighting BB at the end while Caps is just taking mid and top was a weird call from everyone there and that he got a triple there was just not needed.

Did they play the best they could? No, apart from Peyz I think he was phenomenal throughout the series (minus Mel), but they do not deserve the hate theyre getting. Saying Doran needs to get benched, saying Guma got benched for this, and that Peyz his APC's were bad and shouldnt have happened. They for sure have a lot to work on still but the games were not as bad as people make them out to be at all. Its actually been very even despite the mistakes T1 have been making. Neither have been so disgustingly bad to receive this amount of hate and it absolutely sickens me to see it every time. Theyve both been (imo) the most consistent players in T1. You can basically always count on massive dmg output on Peyz and count on Doran to pull back from a weaksided lane.

Doran has absolutely blossomed in T1 and has been so much better than he has been over the years. And idk about you guys but watching T1 games have genuinely become more enjoyable to watch with Peyz in it too. I cant wait to see them perform in Worlds.
