Did one of the recent updates add shift lag when using manual w/clutch?

I'm not sure how to explain it. At launch I could shift near-instantly in older cars when using manual w/clutch (using a wheel with clutch paddles). Now it seems like there's a split-second delay before my car actually shifts, about the same as I'd get using automatic or manual-clutchless.

Am I tripping or is it a subtle nerf to meta cars?
