Help - I want to start scrapbooking but don’t know where to start!

Hi all. I’ve been collecting things from dates with my girlfriend and I want to make a scrapbook for her to look back on everything we have done. I don’t know where to start. I don’t have anything except the mementos from the dates. HELP!
