Bought too much yarn

I bought about double the yarn I needed for a project because I messed up when I calculated how much I needed. It was quite expensive (I need a lot of yarn when making clothes for myself because I'm plus size) and the store I got it from doesn't allow returns on yarn 😭

Any suggestions or encouragement so I don't feel so bad about myself? My mom bought the yarn in exchange for some bandanas I made for my aunts, so I feel even worse about it because of how much she spent on it 🥺
