Executors preventing beneficiary from entering property (England)

Wills & Probate

Hello

So my Nan recently passed away and her 4 children have been left as beneficiaries. However my eldest Auntie and Uncle have been left in the will as Executors. My Mum has a frosty relationship with them both, but provided a large amount of care for my Nan in the past few years of her life.

The two executors have demanded that she return her key to the property and that she may only enter the property when they are present.

My question is there any legal requirement for her to hand the key over to them? My Mum would only be entering the property for emotional reasons and would not be removing anything. Is this an overstep from the executors or do they have total right to prevent her from entering, despite her being an equal beneficiary? Thanks
