From working Holiday to Work visa

Hi,

I am a trained molecular biologist (PhD and a year in industry) from Germany.

I am looking for a Job in Australia and i have already been there ten years ago with a work and travel visa. Back then I did my 88 days and are now eliglbe for the second year.

Since the last years were quite stressfull, I wanted to do some holidays using the work and travel option and then apply for biology jobs in Australia later.

That would mean I have to switch the visa while beeing in the country.

Is this a good plan? I know the Job market is quite tight right now.
