I actually love this season

I am in no way, shape, or form glazing Fusebox. I'm just saying this season is kinda refreshing and I found myself smiling while reading this week's volume.

- Fair warning: I actually like Rui so I love the development of this relationship with him. He's more proactive and romantic, and I get that if you don't like him as an LI, you'd hate what's been happening, but we already see so many angry posts I'm surprised y'all are even in this subreddit. Uninstalling the game is much less painful from the looks of it. Seriously why are you still here if you hate it so much? This is not me trying to be mean. I'm just genuinely baffled how someone can complain ceaselessly about a game they so clearly hate instead of, you know...not playing it?! There are thousands of other games. I wouldn't be wasting my time on a game that makes me complain all the time.

- I love the OG girls and I hope they don't betray MC. A little playful rivalry is okay. I love every single one of them: Amari, Lucia, and Myra. It's been a while since I've felt some sort of camaraderie with fellow female islanders. The last one that was kinda nice was season 7's girls.

- Trent's storyline is often compared with Dominic's and I have to disagree. If your only reason is 'they kinda hate each other' then that's where the comparison stops. To me it's actually giving a tiny bit of Pride & Prejudice where they don't know a lot about each other except some misconceptions they have. I don't mind that we're not lipsing every single episode. I love that the romance itself is a bit more slow. It feels a bit more...idk realistic? compared to 24/7 boombayah some of you are looking for.

- Seriously, sometimes it feels like the people who complain so much about rivalries, conflicts, and slow burn have never read a single book ever. Why are we letting things get to us so much? I personally can't wait for the next volume. Have I had to lower my expectations of Fusebox? Yes, especially after season 4. So I just enjoy it for what it is. And again, if I eventually decide I don't like where the story is going anymore, I'm going to uninstall and save myself from all the 'agg'.
