ND 1000 or VND 6-9 stops for photography

Im thinking of getting a ND filter to pair with my burkard CP filter. I mainly shoot travel photography, stree, and nature photography. Is it better to go with the ND1000 filter for most of the work or is it better to go with 6-9 vnd?
