Hi everyone,

I’m the developer of InfyniDock, a window-first Dock and window switcher for macOS.

Problem:

The native macOS Dock is great for launching apps, but it is still mostly app-first. If you work with many Chrome windows, Finder folders, editors, terminals, AI tools, chat apps, and project windows, switching to an app is often not enough. You usually want one exact window.

InfyniDock is built for that workflow: preview windows, identify them faster, and jump directly to the window you need.

**What’s new in 2.15.6:**

\- **Menu Dock**: Use InfyniDock from the macOS menu bar while keeping the native Dock as-is. This is the lightest mode if you want better window switching without fully replacing your Dock.

\- **Semi-Hide Dock**: A middle ground between always-visible and auto-hide. The Dock can stay partially visible near the screen edge, then expand when you move your cursor over it. Visibility, opacity, and display-specific behavior can be adjusted.

\- **Hotkey support**: InfyniDock can now be controlled more comfortably from the keyboard, including opening the switcher and moving between windows faster.

Other highlights:

**- Window-first switching, not just app icons**

**- Window previews before switching**

**- FloatDock, a temporary visual switcher**

**- Workspaces for grouping related windows**

**- Multi-display support**

**- Customizable Dock position, size, labels, indicators, and appearance**

Compared with AltTab-style switchers, InfyniDock is not only a temporary switcher. It can also be a persistent Dock layer with previews, workspaces, labels, display-specific behavior, and customization.

I’d love to hear feedback from people who use many windows, external monitors, or other macOS Dock/window-switching tools.
