First Anime Expo Experience Rant

Hello, first time attendee, first time poster.

I had a great time at Anime Expo. I only went on the opening day because it was my cousin's birthday. Honestly it was awesome; the bar lines were almost always empty, the cosplays were dope, and everyone was so polite. I got so hooked on Expos/Cons that I started planning for next year (especially 2028 when the Convetion Center's expansion is finished).

My gripes about the experience is that the badge line was unusually long, extend that box office yo! And the crowding; I managed to avoid the bulk of it because I went on a Thursday, but seeing the posts about the crowds is a bit concerning now that I plan on buying a 4-day pass.

Do you guys have any tips on how a casual attendee can contribute to the community of Anime Expo? Do I need to put a cosplay together? Is it Not cool to ask for a picture with a cosplayer?(Just shooting in the dark)

Also, I know this subreddit isn't affiliated with any official association or organization but I atleast hope my comment about the box office line will get noticed.

TLDR: Anime Expo is Dope! Minor gripes. I want more!
