What is wrong with people?
I've been seeing a lot of memes on social media mocking the Prime Minister's foreign visits especially the recent visit to Indonesia. It makes me wonder if people are judging these visits based only on memes and political narratives rather than what was actually accomplished.
India and Indonesia signed around 20 agreements covering areas like trade, defense, maritime cooperation, technology. Regardless of anyone's political preferences those are meaningful outcomes for bilateral relations.
Constructive criticism of any government is important but completely dismissing diplomatic visits without looking at the actual results doesn't seem productive. It feels like many people have already made up their minds before even examining the facts.
Social media has become so polarized that positive developments are ignored if they don't fit a particular narrative.
