PC freezing mid game/app usage with monitors on displaying the last thing before the freeze, only forced shutdown can fix it

To be more precise:

Specs:

Ryzen 7 7800x3d
RX 9070 XT
32GB ddr5
2tb SSD
XPG core reactor II VE ATX3.1
Asus TUF GAMING B650M-PLUS WIFI (most recent stable bios)

Description:

Sporadically when gaming or on more rare occasions just when using the pc the entire pc freezes with the monitors both displaying whatever was on at the time of the freeze, audio sometimes continues for a few seconds but then also stops, in this time mouse and keyboard are unresponsive in any configuration wired/wireless. The only thing that can solve the issue is a forced restart by pressing the power button.

Now the weird part is that this happened to my last pc as well that did not share any parts with this one.

I honestly suspect maybe a power issue from the wall? I don't have a UPS.

Or some kind of peripheral cozying this? Still using the old monitors and mouse and keyboard, but it still happened when I was using different keyboard/mouse on the old pc.
