Confused on what to gift :)

Thank you for reading my post. For some time Ive been wanting to gift my husband some tools. I actually gave him his very first swiss knife and it had a bunch of tools, he really appreciated it but I find that this on its own seems to be more so an emergency type of tool that can get us out of temporary trouble. We are now getting a house on our own and im wondering if theres anything you would think is ESSENTIAL for a household tool set or any suggestions - his birthday is coming up and I want to give him something practical and interesting that will also serve us in the future. If you have any suggestions for gifts I would appreciate it greatly.
