it is me or wrestling in general has been cooling?

i know wwe got issues for the past year, but i saw aew fans saying that aew’s product has been cooling as well with the build to forbidden door. i remember 5 years ago back in 2021 when aew got post-covid momentum even creatively especially with punk’s debut while wwe was hit/miss creatively even with their return to live crowd.
