She Stopped Me

So

My mom always told me not to watch movies, dramas, series, when I was growing up. She used to say they weren't good for me and that I should spend my time listening to the Quran or learning about **Islam** instead!.

But I was a **rebel**. The more I was told not to do something the more I wanted to do it. So I _secretly_ started watching TV without telling her. From that day on it became a habit.

As time passed i was exposed to a lot of things through the shows I watched. I became so **addicted** that I never really stopped.

I never told my mom that I watched movies, series or dramas. Maybe she still doesn't know.

Now looking back I understand why she tried to stop me. Not everything shown in movies or series is good especially for a child.

Now I actually want to break this habit. In the end, she was right... and I was just being _**rebellious**_.
