What raise do you get on an average year? Industry vs public

Hi all,

I was staying in public due to the pretty much title and salary progression but I recently-ish left for an industry position.

I was wondering, for those in public and those in industry (please say what industry if you're comfortable), what are your usual raises? Can use this year for example

For me my rough %s were

S0-->s1 was 7%

S1-->s2 was 9%

It looks like in my industry a good raise every year sits around 4 or 5%
