Curious how you all handle the rude comments

Hi! Im 25 but with being super short and thin i get mistaken as a 12 year old all the time 🙄 it doesnt help that im a server so people make comments all the time like:

Are you even old enough to work here?

Are you even old enough to drink that?

Omg you look 12! Haha i thought you were a kid!

Theyll question my ability to carry things like trays and such which i can do just fine

Theyll ask my age like i owe them that information

The list goes on.

Some people are SO, SO rude about it.

Ive been serving for 6 years now and have tried many different things. Right now im trying to get better about not telling them my age at all bc its not their business and it helps put the power back in my pocket, if that makes sense?? With the more rude people, i literally just stare at them in silence. That usually makes them hear what they just said and then they get uncomfortable. I think its hilarious.

What would/do you guys do?
