Gluten Ataxia
Gluten ataxia can occur in the non-celiac gluten sensitive or celiacs. It's a rare condition that occurs when gluten (a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye) is ingested and the body produces antibodies. These antibodies can mistakenly target and destroy cells in the cerebellum, causing balance and other problems, unless a gluten-free diet is maintained.
I never heard of this condition until someone I followed on a youtube channel was diagnosed with it, most doctors aren't aware of it because it's new.
