3 hours into editing my own face and i can't tell what's funny anymore

Reaction content problem nobody warned me about: the entire edit is just watching yourself. over and over.
by the second pass through the footage i've lost all judgment. the laugh i thought was gold an hour ago now looks fake to me. a 10 second pause i was about to cut might genuinely be the best moment in the video?? no idea anymore.
and the ratio is brutal. like 20 usable seconds for every 10 minutes of me sitting there with a dead expression waiting for something to react to.
how do you judge your own footage after the 50th rewatch? sleep on it and trust morning brain? just ship it? i'm a little fried lol
