Any good experiences with stock YG Day-Dates ?
I’ve been wanting to get a flat Green dial Yellow Gold Rolex Day-Date for a long time but I always hear that all gold watch reps look bad.
I’ve seen some that look good but they all seem to have gone through extensive modifications like original parts and expensive re-plating.
I’ve also heard that RCF yellow gold day-dates are pretty close the real thing but I’m just not convinced enough to pull the trigger.
Do any of you have a good stock yellow gold day-date ? How does wear/tear look compared to real gold ? Should I just stick to Stainless Steel watches and stay away from Day-Dates ?
