AirPods Pro (Gen 3) lost at home – Find My

says they’re nearby, but I can’t find them
I’m losing my mind trying to find my AirPods Pro (Gen 3).
They’re definitely somewhere in my house, and I’m 99% sure our cat has batted them into some random hiding spot. They’re inside the charging case, so they won’t play a sound through Find My.
The strange part is that Find My still detects them. The location refreshes every 10–15 minutes, always in the same spot, and the Find option says they’re “nearby,” but it doesn’t give me any more precise direction or distance.
I’ve already:
Searched the house manually three separate times.
Used the Find My app repeatedly.
Tried third-party Bluetooth scanner apps like Wunderfind.
None of it has helped.
Is there anything else I can try before I tear the house apart for a fourth time? Are there any tricks, better apps, or ways to narrow down the location when the AirPods are inside the case and can’t make a sound?
