29 M. Did I lose my chance with a good woman ?

Im 29,M. Met a lady 32,F a few months back. We are family friends. I liked her since the moment I started interacting with her. The only issue is I am currently working part time for a small company, remotely. Pay not great. I can do better but I am not using my full potential. Honestly, I wasn’t relationship ready but I didn’t want to let go off her. I told her I like her but cannot put labels to our situation. I also told her to not tell her family unless we are sure. She initially agreed but one day, when we met for coffee, she said she needs some assurance from me as to where my career is headed. I gave her a vague timeline of having clarity in the next 8 months. I wanted to continue seeing her till then but I could she wasn't comfortable with the uncertainty. Over the next few days, during a whatsapp chat, I told her I wasn’t ready for a relationship and she said then we must not keep in touch since she got emotionally involved and couldn’t be friends with me.
A month later she reached out, inviting me to a dinner she planned with our friends. It was clearly an attempt to repair and ease the awkwardness. After the dinner, I sent her some very nasty messages - that she is immature and hot headed. I also told her she needs therapy and there is no way I can tolerate her emotional nature. She responded saying she understands my reaction, will think the through the ‘feedback’ and get back to me.
To be honest, other than asking for clarity (although a bit firmly) and telling me its best we don’t keep in touch after I said I can’t commit, she has been overly generous and gracious. A truly lovely lady otherwise. She has a phd in physics and is doing very well professionally too. Beautiful, respectful and liked by my parents and siblings.
After i sent the messages to her, she didn’t get back to me. I don’t know what to do. I blocked her yesterday because I got tired of waiting for her to initiate a conversation. I see her in my neighborhood every now and then. I saw her yesterday too and she very politely said hi to me. I got triggered and blocked her.
