VW Mechanic/local shop suggestions

I own a Jetta 2008 who desperately needs an oil change. Ive been neglecting it and the engine light has come on, the issue is my cable latch is snapped and the hood wont stay up.

You can easily open the hood through the front fenders and i could even open it up for the shop if needed. I keep being rejected by shops because the hood will not stay up.

I am looking for suggestions or possibly someone who would be willing to do this for me! I would be able to leave a tip as well for dealing with the inconvenience. Any shops you guys think could help me in RI?
