10 years post op questions

Advice

Anyone 10 years post op in here & maintaining the weight loss without additional interventions? How many calories do you eat in a day? What is your daily protein intake? I’m 5ft 7.

My starting weight was 320. I got pregnant 2 months post op from my surgery. At the time I got pregnant I was 250. The weight came off fasttttt. 3 months postpartum from having my baby I was 227. Then I ended up getting pregnant 3 more times, basically back to back. I had my last & final baby in 2021 and ended at 254 and it’s stayed there.

August of last year I got very sick and April of this year after seeing multiple drs I decided to take a look at what I was actually eating and try to get down to maybe 200lbs as my first goal. Reaching for the stars perfect goal would be 150lbs.

After switching to a 1600 calorie diet per my dietitian in late May, I’m already down to 232 !!

Before I was grazing a lotttt and not eating nutritious food which were a lot of empty calories. Now I’m prioritizing protein and fiber and water.

Anyway the days are slim where I can even eat 1600 calories unless I throw in a bunch of sugary stuff. Most days I’m eating 1000-1300 calories. My protein is usually 80-100g & fiber is 20-30g. I feel the restriction again and I’m reminding myself I actually need to eat. It’s wonderful because I got this surgery for a reason!!

I’m just wondering if this is “enough” food.
