Śivasūtravimarśinī (Aphorism 7): Jāgratsvapnasuṣuptabhede turyābhogasambhavaḥ
Thus, for someone in whom the universe has been suspended and suppressed as such—or, in other words, for someone in whom the universe is now perceived as Divine Consciousness—there is no difference between Samādhi
and Vyutthāna—any state other than Samādhi.
Thus, Lord Śiva said:
Even during the different states of waking, dreaming,
and deep sleep, the Delight and Enjoyment of the Fourth State exist.
For one who is united with the Supreme Self through Great Yoga
—through Śāmbhavopāya—there is constantly the Camatkāra of the Fourth State of Consciousness. That Ābhoga—Delight and Enjoyment—mentioned in this aphorism is “Camatkāra, or the Bliss of the Supreme Self-Consciousness.”
It is the Delight and Enjoyment of the Fourth State or Turya, which—that is, the Fourth State—has been indirectly referred to in the fifth aphorism of this
section (p. 26):
“Bhairava, the Supreme Being, is a Sudden Flash or Elevation
of Divine Consciousness” ||
