A summon creature exiled with Mimeoplasm, Revered One

Hello - what happens when you have [[Summon: Leviathan]] exiled with [[Mimeoplasm, Revered One]]? It doesn't enter, but I can have it gain a lore counter after my draw step? Does it retain its counter when I flip back and forth between creatures with Revered One? Thank you.
