Looking back at my very first album almost a year later lol

Hi everyone!

About 9 or 10 months ago, I finally upload my very first album, [feeling i got} idk if its an album or EP though😐

Looking back at it now, its a strange experience because I can hear just how noob I was. I only recently started making music in BandLab (still am, actually). I didnt really know much about production, mixing, arrangement, all of that bs or even what my own style was while I experimented and tried to figure out how writing lyrics even worked.

The idea behind the album was super simple: instead of telling one story, each song represents a feeling or emotional state. Some are about loneliness, some about pretending to be okay (i think?), some about my crush from school, childhood memories, confidence (this one cringe me out ngl), or learning to stand on my own. I wanted each song to feel like stepping into a different emotional room.

Now that some time has passed, I wanted to come back with fresh ears.. but not mine. I've listened to these songs so many times that I honestly can't trust my own ears anymore.

So I'd love to borrow YOURS!!!!!

If you decide to listen, I'd really appreciate hearing about things such as

Which song stood out to you the most, and why?

What emotion or story did you take away from each song?

Did the album feel connected to you, or did every song feel like its own separate world?

Were there moments where you interpreted something completely differently than I probably intended?

Since this was my first album, what would you improve? Whether it's the production, vocals, songwriting, arrangement, or anything else, I'm genuinely interested in honest criticism rather than compliments, though i would like both tbh

I'm still learning, and I think hearing perspectives from people who have never heard these songs before would teach me a lot!!!!!

Here's the album:
