Being trans and dating (trying) is like slowly dying

I don't think anything could have warned me for how small the pool is for dating when your trans. Like it took me so long to even admit to myself that I am a certain niche and all the men on hinge aren't going to treat me as a cis woman (it sounds stupid i know). Meaning matching, the way they text or the things they say. Like I sometimes hate going out with my cis friends because they all get attention and I'm like the bag and coat check. They don't mean to I know but like ughhhhh. Like Lana said, whens it gonna be my turn.
