what rank does clam blitz become playable at?

i just started playing a few days ago, and i've only reached b- rank so far, and every time i get clam blitz my team just has no idea what's going on. nobody will throw the clams to eachother, nobody will support or follow the person with the football nor will the person with the football even make any attempt to reach the enemy base. i'm just assuming this is because i'm in beginner elo and people don't actually understand the game. so my plan is to just avoid it until i'm a higher rank, which is a shame because when i have people to play open with it's actually a fun mode. does anyone know what rank i have to reach to get teammates who know what the mode is actually about that'll play the objective?
