I already have a 2025 SEL and have been thinking about replacing my wife’s car for a couple months now with the 2026 LTD. I finally found a buyer for our Chevrolet Bolt and the deal is going down this weekend so I started making calls to dealerships to get some competitive prices. Turns out, there are nearly ZERO Ioniq5 LTDs in the DC, MD, VA area. The Hyundai inventory website was all LIES. I must’ve called at least 7 places and it was all the same story: the cars have been held up at port for months now, and the cars we have coming have been spoken for whenever they finally arrive.

I kept calling though and finally landed on a place an hour and a half away from me that was getting a shipment of 5 cars in the next day, no reservations, first come first served. They called me at 4 to let me know the cars arrived. I had to wait until I got off work and by the time I got there at 7 there was only 1 car left. Walked out 2 hours later with a new leased vehicle ready for pickup Sunday. Might have been the easiest dealership experience I’ve ever had.

All that to say, if you’re shopping around make sure to call and make sure the website is accurate. This may not be news to this sub, but it was surely a surprise for me.
