Titration and fatigue

I’ve been on retatrutide for about two months and I’m still on 1.5 mg (I started at 1 mg).

The biggest issue has been the fatigue. It has been absolutely brutal. Before anyone asks, I’m eating plenty of protein and carbohydrates, staying well hydrated, and taking electrolytes, so I don’t think it’s simply down to nutrition or hydration.

For some background, I lost over 15 kg naturally before starting retatrutide. I then hit a year-long plateau. Since starting it, I’ve managed to lose another 4–5 kg, but I’ve now stalled again.

I suspect part of the reason is that I’m barely exercising because of the fatigue. Before retatrutide I was comfortably walking around 15k steps a day. Now even 5k steps can leave me feeling completely wiped out.

Another issue is that the appetite suppression has almost completely disappeared. I’m back to fighting cravings every day, which is frustrating because it feels like one of the main benefits has worn off.

I’m at the point where increasing the dose would normally be the next step, but I’m worried it could make the fatigue even worse. On the other hand, lowering the dose doesn’t seem like a great option either if my appetite is already back and i’m struggling to ignore the cravings.

Has anyone else experienced this?
