Odd vagina scent after having a new partner…worried it might be BV

So earlier in the year I had started seeing my current partner and got a severe UTI the first week into us sleeping together. I went to a clinic to get it treated and went about like everything was normal but apparently it wasn’t.
I didn’t go for a review because of issues in my schedule but assumed I was fine. I occasionally got pelvic pain which i thought was pre period cramps since I’ve always had those but I started noticing that my pee and the entire area smelled off. I just thought I wasn’t as hydrated and started drinking lots of water up until last week were I found out I had a really bad UTI again and had to get a shot for it. I didn’t mention my scent to the doctor but she didn’t say anything about me getting a swab.
My pee smells normal now and I smelt normal for a day or two but then I slept with my partner again and now I smell off in my canal. I feel so weird about it. He’s the first partner I’ve ever had scent issues with so I’m really concerned.
I mean to go back for a review and maybe a swab tomorrow but then what if it’s BV?? And what if he’s causing it? I just feel so uncomfortable especially because he noticed the scent too.
