Looking for advice on a new car that I'm buying.

Hey everybody, I just got my driver's license and I'm looking for a new car. I found an old 2011 BMW X5 model for $6,500. The woman did say that she put in a new battery, I think it was an L A C and a belt. She says the price is negotiable, but that's what she's asking for. I was wondering if this is a good deal. I don't know much about cars and just looking for advice.
