Are the boat stealth missions improved?

I recall the boat stealth missions being my only gripe in the original. I see they have “updated gameplay” and I’m hoping that means the stealth missions are no longer as rage inducing.

I have yet to see comments or feedback from the early release copies about the stealth missions.
