Shiv is the WORST!

Ugh. I can’t stand Shiv.

She is constantly exhibiting traits of nepotism on the show that is explicitly about nepotism. It drives me crazy! Why didn’t the writers just make her perfect so that I don’t have to be annoyed by her?

She’s so spoiled, everything gets handed to her. Unlike her two brothers, who started out with nothing and worked hard for everything they got. They truly carved their own paths in life and that is why everyone at the company respected them so much.

Shiv is totally delusional and unfit to run the company. Her brother, the self destructive addict who detonates at the first scent of power, would be a much better fit. Or maybe her other brother, the one with zero emotional regulation abilities who likes to crush deals and fire people on a whim cause they hurt his feelings. I think those two were very suited to the job.

I just wish Shiv understood she’s not supposed to have any flaws or serve the overall narrative in any way. It would be much better if she provided absolutely nothing.

Sometimes at night I lay in bed and dream of Succession where only men exist. I get butterflies just thinking about it.
