Does anyone else get annoyed by every app having its own MCP config?

I made an MCP hub because all my apps were using their own MCP clients and configs

Claude Code had one setup
Cursor had another one
Codex and Gemini had their own configs too

After a while I had the same MCP servers configured in different places and sometimes started multiple times

It got messy very fast and I often didnt know which config was still correct

So I started building WERKHub

The idea is just to have one local place where I can manage the MCP servers and let the different apps connect through it

It is still early and I am mostly building it for my own setup right now

I hope this post is okay here because I would really like to know if other people have the same problem or how they manage MCPs across different apps
