Idea for Jurassic World 5's T-Rex
Since Rexy seems to be shafted from the narrative going forward and Ember was a pretty worthy successor to her in the brief screentime it had in Rebirth, it'd really be logical for the next movie to follow up with another original T-Rex for the cast to go up against, and I had a particularly interesting idea for what that new Rex could be.
This one could be named Goliath, after a massive real life T-Rex specimen that was found in September 2024. We only have a femur for Goliath, but it's a big one by T-Rex standards, and weight estimates for this individual vary from 11.4 to 12.5 tons based on its size. I'm not saying this new T-Rex should be that big, I just think the Jurassic franchise naming one after a recently discovered specimen would be a nice paleontological touch, especially since Ember was already a step forward in making a franchise T-Rex somewhat line up with what we know about the animal's life appearance.
What do you guys think of this?
