Should I be concerned? My bf says he'll kill me if I cheat

My bf thinks cheaters should get the death penalty, and he would kill me should I ever cheat on me. When I told him that it's an extremely wrong way of thinking, he began hurling verbal abuses at me (we were on video call). I asked him about the cases where men have murdered their wives for cheating. He also agrees with the Taliban treatment where people are thrown stones at for cheating. My bf has issues with anger. I have not cheated on him and I'll never, but I'm concerned if he might kill me if he ever has assumptions about me. Should I be concerned?
